How do educators keep current with the ever changing world of technology? How can Web 2.0 tools be used to communicate and collaborate with peers across the hall and around the world?

Participants in this course will learn how to utilize a variety of web-based applications to build and develop personal learning networks (PLN). Personal learning networks are created by an individual learner, specific to his/her needs, extending relevant learning connections to like-interested people around the world. Course participants will learn to draw information from other educators, experts in the fields of study, current news and news searches, and relevant web-based digital content resources to assist them in adapting to this age of change.
